This fall JT participated in his first 'competitive' sport; flag football. I signed-on with this league because the practice and game were on the same day and it only happened once a week. If you don't know me, I steer away from putting my kids on the activities gerbil wheel so this was a big step. Anyway, JT loved it. It helped that two of his good friends were on the same team with him.
What was precious is that J
T didn't have a clue about the game of football. For instance, once play was stopped he would continue pursuing his opponents flag. We had to teach him that you only grab the flag of the person who has the ball and once play stops, no more flags should be pulled. He picked it up quickly. We'll probably end up doing this again in the springtime. Way to go, JT!
