Just thought I'd pop in a quick little update with our chicks that we got in April. We still aren't sure how many roosters we have, but our guess is 6 roosters. Supposedly they will be bigger than the hens and they will develop more quickly.They have graduated from the small trough-like home that we originally had them in. They now have our large dog kennel and attached round-pen to roam in and out of. We've put a roosting stick in there and already they are learning to roost. It's so adorable seeing them instinctively know the concept of roosting at 9 weeks.
