Well, it's been forever since I've updated things. I first want to apologize because my reasoning was that I thought I was the only one who looked at this blog. I felt like I was entering stuff in the black hole. This last Easter, we had our 3rd Annual Easter Get-Together with friends. This started when we were having our first Easter in our house and thought we'd just throw out an invite to anyone who wanted to come. We figured we'd get a lot of "sorry, but we're going to the in-laws" or "we've got other plans." That was not the case at all. Turns out that we have hooked-up with many transplants who don't have family around so having a place to go on Easter was nice. We ended up with 40 people that year. This year was no exception, we had 35 people. The group consists of friends from our old church, friends from our new church, and just plain 'ol friends. They mingled with eachother fabulously!
The weather wasn't the best that day so our usual outside egg hunt had to be brought indoors. And, there was no egg toss and/or 4-wheeling. Maybe next year. However, if I can figure out how to attach it properly, you will see a video of the men doing a number from the musical WEST SIDE STORY, "I Feel Pretty." We played a game between the sexes and this was sort of a bonus point for the guys. Enjoy!
